Outline of the role:
- Managing and driving the commissioning engineers by planning their activities and providing logistical support when issues are encountered.
- Quick response to any issues which are encountered, be it organising repair of equipment, ordering of parts, accessing support from equipment suppliers, arranging service visits etc.
- Keeping Operations Director informed and updated with progress and any issues encountered.
- Obtaining installation and operating information to assist with commissioning process.
- Understanding issues which are encountered and coming up with well thought out solutions.
- Gaining a full understanding of how the plant operates.
- Spending time in the control room and operating the plant on an ad hoc basis.
- Updating of documentation to as-built.
