Salary: £12.80 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the HU3 area for a reliable and hardworking Stores Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role within a busy non-food warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
  • Managing goods-in processes, including unloading deliveries
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management
  • Supporting the team during annual stock takes
  • General warehouse duties as required

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Previous Goods-In experience
  • Strong stock control experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) – essential for stock handling and documentation
