We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a busy steel fabrication workshop. The role covers pressure vessels, piping systems, casings, and custom mechanical components. You’ll ensure production targets are met safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards (ASME, API, ISO 9001).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage production schedules, manpower, and materials
- Oversee workshop operations: cutting, rolling, welding, machining, and assembly
- Ensure quality and compliance with codes, client specifications, and QA/QC standards
- Lead, coach, and manage workshop staff
- Monitor productivity, control costs, and report on KPIs
- Maintain a safe, efficient working environment
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 8–12+ years in steel fabrication operations, with 3–5 years in management
- Knowledge of pressure vessel, piping spool, structural/casing fabrication, and welding processes
- Familiar with ASME Section VIII, piping codes, and fabrication drawings
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
