KFM are recruiting for a Despatch Operative based a short walk from the centre of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role with a well-established company, offering stability and the chance to go permanent.
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts on weekly rotation (8:30β16:30 / 9:30β17:30 / 10:00β18:00)
- Overtime available at 1.5x pay
- Weekly pay
- On-site parking
- Temporary to permanent
The Role:
- Picking orders from floor-level pick points only
- Operating lifting and handling equipment (Power Pallet Trucks and Hand Pallet Trucks)
- Maintaining inventory accuracy using warehouse systems
- Ensuring the workplace is kept safe, clean, and organised
- Supporting team staffing levels by working required shifts
- Following all Health & Safety requirements
The Person:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch role
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Basic IT knowledge
- Flexible and reliable with shift work
- UK Driving Licence beneficial (not essential)
