Role Overview
You will be responsible for accurately picking vehicle and delivery orders, maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle, ensuring DVSA compliance with vehicle checks, and manually handling food produce to customers’ premises in accordance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and deliver vehicle and customer orders while maintaining product temperatures.
- Ensure DVSA compliance by completing vehicle checks to a high standard.
- Manually handle food produce to customers' premises, complying with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and related legislation.
Qualifications
- Qualified 3.5t Van Driver with extensive local road knowledge.
- Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
- Eye for detail.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Flexibility to work in a shift system.
- Ambition to become an HGV2 driver, supported by our driver development programme.
