We are looking for an action driving, enthusiastic, independent, commercial superstar to join KFC Commercial Finance team to deliver insight led change as a Commercial Finance Analyst (Sales and Marketing). You will be closely business partnering with the marketing team and support in leveraging data and insight to continuously optimise performance, margin and drive our commercial ambitions. You will lead our sales and promotional campaigns forecasting and providing regular trading updates and diagnosis to our senior leadership team and “C suite”. You will also be a key stakeholder within the wider cross functional team driving improvements and opportunities as well as being responsible for reading the performance of in-flight initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a brilliant business partner, comfortable in talking to people from all areas of the business and at all levels. You will have the opportunity to gain an end-to-end understanding of the business, which will in turn stand you in excellent stead to make the transition to broader roles within the organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Forecasting and Planning - leading our quarterly sales planning cycles; responsible for the commercial forecast of marketing promotional campaigns.
- Weekly performance review – preparation and presentation of “beat year ago” meetings with CMO, CEO, CFO and COO. Diagnose weekly performance and provide insight-led recommendations.
- Responsible for margin and menu-mix analysis and providing ongoing insight into product category trends and margin optimisation opportunities.
- Post Promotional Performance review – provide insight into and lead cross functional review of promotional performances.
- Partner closely with our digital marketing lead to optimise the return on investment of KFC App offers.
- Owner of our test and learn committee initiatives.
What we’d love from you:
EXPERIENCE: A practical self-starter, the successful candidate will be used to delivering to tight deadlines and used to partnering effectively with internal customers and external stakeholders. Highly analytical; Advanced knowledge of Excel; Excellent oral and presentation skills; Must have clear potential to move into bigger and broader roles. Able to build and draw upon strong business partner relationships. Previous experience in a commercially focused environment preferable but not required.
EDUCATION: Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIMA, CA, ACCA).
