Welcome to KFC. Home of the real ones. We sell the world’s best chicken. Seriously. And we’ve done it since 1939, when the idea of crispy, original recipe chicken took Kentucky by storm. Now, we’re proud to serve 1000+ communities across the UK and Ireland, bringing the grit, pride and iconic reputation that we started with, all those years ago.
Across the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC), we come to work to be ourselves, and to make something of ourselves. We want to see our potential go that little bit further, as part of one of the world’s most iconic brands.
Our Digital team are the people behind the platforms that help guests get their KFC fix, and help our restaurants, franchise partners and business teams make it happen. From menus and pricing to ordering, payments, integrations and fulfilment, we build the tech that keeps our digital experience simple, reliable and ready for what’s next. If you’re curious, commercially minded, and love solving the messy problems behind great customer experiences, you’ll feel right at home here.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a key platform product domain, starting with Menu, one of the most important parts of our digital ecosystem. You’ll get under the skin of how our products work, how restaurants use them, how customers experience them, and how they drive commercial value. Then you’ll turn that insight into clear product direction, smart trade-offs and measurable outcomes. This is a role for someone who can sit comfortably between strategy, tech, operations and commercial priorities. You don’t need to code, but you do need to understand enough to have proper conversations with engineers, architects, data teams and technical partners.
WHAT WILL YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING?
- Product Ownership: Own the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for a key platform product domain, initially focused on Menu.
- Problem Solving: Lead discovery to understand the real customer, restaurant, franchisee and business problems worth solving.
- Delivery & Impact: Prioritise and deliver improvements that make our platforms more reliable, scalable, simple to use and commercially effective.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, UX, Operations, Marketing, Commercial, Customer Care, Tech and Restaurant Excellence to bring the right solutions to life.
- Smarter Decisions: Use data, insight and product metrics to guide priorities, measure success and keep improving post-launch.
- Future Thinking: Explore how AI and emerging tech can help us move faster, reduce cost, improve productivity and create better outcomes for the business.
WHAT WE LOVE FROM YOU:
We’re looking for a senior product thinker who can bring clarity to complexity, make confident decisions in ambiguity and keep everyone focused on outcomes, not just outputs. You’ll be commercially sharp, technically curious and able to balance what our guests want, what our restaurants need and what the business needs to deliver. You’ll build trust quickly, communicate simply, challenge constructively and know when to zoom out on strategy or get into the detail.
EXPERIENCE
- Strong product management experience, ideally owning strategy and outcomes for a digital, platform, technical or operational product.
- Experience working with platform products, internal tools, digital commerce, retail tech, restaurant tech or complex operational systems.
- Strong technical understanding, with confidence working alongside engineering, architecture and third-party partners.
- Experience building product roadmaps, defining requirements, writing user stories, setting success metrics and making trade-off decisions.
- Confident working across complex stakeholder groups, including commercial, operations, technology, customer-facing teams, partners and senior leaders.
- Experience using data, insight and product metrics to prioritise work, assess performance and improve product direction.
- Experience with agile teams, discovery, experimentation, iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Bonus points for experience with menu management, pricing, digital ordering, POS integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, payments, content management or enterprise SaaS.
