Welcome to KFC. Home of the real ones. We sell the world’s best chicken. Seriously. And we’ve done it since 1939, when the idea of crispy, original recipe chicken took Kentucky by storm. Now, we’re proud to serve 1000+ communities across the UK and Ireland, bringing the grit, pride and iconic reputation that we started with, all those years ago.
Across the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC), we come to work to be ourselves, and to make something of ourselves. We want to see our potential go that little bit further, as part of one of the world’s most iconic brands.
ABOUT THE ROLE
If you've ever wondered who brings KFC's biggest moments to life, this is that role. We're looking for an exceptional communicator who knows how to cut through the noise. Someone who can tell great stories, create unforgettable experiences and bring our people closer to the brand every single day.
You’ll own how we communicate with our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) teams, create campaigns that bring our culture to life, and deliver some of the biggest events in our business. From writing communications for senior leaders to bringing together 1,500 restaurant leaders at RGM Fest, you'll play a key role in helping our people feel connected, informed and proud to be part of Team KFC.
No two days are the same. One day you could be shaping a leadership announcement, the next you're working with agencies to deliver a major event or launching an engagement campaign that reaches thousands of colleagues across the UK & Ireland.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Internal Communications: Lead our internal communications calendar, creating engaging content across newsletters, digital channels, leadership updates and employee platforms. You’ll help make complex business messages simple, relevant and engaging.
- Events & Experiences: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of some of KFC's biggest events, including RGM Fest, Champions Club, RSC Rallies and The Bolos. From concept to delivery, you’ll create experiences that inspire our people and bring our brand to life.
- Employee Engagement: Support major business initiatives, cultural moments and recognition campaigns that strengthen engagement and create pride across the business.
- Stakeholder & Agency Management: Partner with senior leaders, franchise partners and agencies to deliver high‑quality communications and events, always looking for new ways to improve how we engage our people.
WHAT WE'D LOVE FROM YOU
- 5+ years experience in internal communications, employee engagement, events or a similar role.
- A track record of delivering large‑scale events and communications campaigns.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple projects at once.
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers and budgets.
- A creative mindset, excellent organisation and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience within hospitality, retail or franchised businesses would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
ABOUT YOU
You're someone who loves making things happen. You build great relationships, enjoy bringing people together and have a knack for turning ideas into memorable experiences. You're equally comfortable writing a leadership communication as you are managing an event or presenting a recommendation to senior stakeholders.
You stay calm under pressure, enjoy solving problems and aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done. Most importantly, you're passionate about creating experiences that people genuinely remember.

This role includes occasional evening and weekend work during key event periods, along with some travel across the UK and occasionally internationally for events and site visits.
