The Marketing Director – Pizza Hut Europe is accountable for defining and leading the regional marketing strategy to accelerate sales growth, transactions, and brand relevance across more than 20 European markets. This role exists to make Pizza Hut an everyday brand, delivering positive sales and transaction growth through earning market share. With a disruptive digital leadership approach, and best-in-class franchise collaboration, the role balances brand-building and performance marketing, ensuring that every marketing investment drives measurable commercial impact while strengthening Pizza Hut's long-term brand equity.
The Marketing Director is a senior strategic and creative leader, a digital-first disruptive thinker, and a commercial operator with a clear analytical mindset.
Responsibilities- Own and lead the end-to-end regional marketing strategy for Pizza Hut Europe, with clear accountability for transactions, sales, and value perception.
- Execute a QSR-like value strategy that strengthens Top Entry Value, Delivery Value, and Online Value Offers across all European markets.
- Develop and deploy a value layer analysis framework (COGS, mix, media allocation) to optimize value architecture and profitability.
- Track and benchmark value performance across top European markets, ensuring consistency and best-practice sharing.
- Develop a principal marketing calendar and ensure all market calendars are aligned with these principal.
- Drive pricing architecture, and campaign effectiveness across Europe.
- Act as a digital thought leader, assessing and optimizing digital advertising effectiveness across awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Step-change digital performance and brand relevance across markets through innovation, testing, and disruptive thinking.
- Define and steward the regional brand strategy, ensuring Pizza Hut is positioned as an Everyday Brand while accelerating relevance with younger audiences.
- Ensure all markets consistently deliver the Pizza Hut brand story through distinctive, locally relevant communications.
- Lead the development and rollout of omni-channel campaigns that grow brand love, drive transactions, and retain customers.
- Manage regional campaigns end-to-end, from concept development through execution, budget management, performance evaluation, and optimization.
- Analyse consumer data and trends and ensure decision making is based on this analysis.
- Partner closely with franchisees to co-create annual local marketing plans, including value offers, promotions, innovation, and communications that drive sales and traffic.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner to franchise leadership, balancing brand consistency with local market agility.
- Enable markets with clear frameworks, tools, and guidance while holding them accountable for execution and results.
- Own regional product development initiatives, including core product improvements, food innovation, and regulatory-driven changes.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure innovation pipelines support both brand strategy and transaction growth.
- Lead the rollout of the Unlocking Opportunity Program across Europe.
- Manage end-to-end execution in collaboration with Yum! and external social partners, ensuring authenticity, scale, and measurable outcomes.
- Invest in long-term capability building across markets and agency partners, particularly in strategy, brand positioning, digital performance, and creativity.
- Expand know-how sharing and best-practice deployment across the region.
- Act as a people grower, developing high-performing teams and future marketing leaders within your team.
- Collaborate closely across the organization on initiatives such as Brand Tracking, Google partnerships, attribution, and marketing technology.

Qualifications- 10+ years of senior marketing experience, with mandatory QSR or multi-unit restaurant, agency experience.
- Proven track record of driving transactions and sales growth, not just brand metrics.
- Strong digital expertise, PR and marketing communication.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a disruptive thinker in a fast-paced, competitive category.
- Deep understanding of value strategy, pricing architecture, and promotional effectiveness in QSR.
- Experience partnering with and influencing franchisees in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong strategic storytelling, influence, and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing agencies at a regional or international level.
- High commercial acumen, analytical capability, and results orientation.
- Expert level skills in Powerpoint, and excel.
