We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer to join our Production Team. At Keyzo, we take pride in planning, designing, and delivering the best technology solutions for our global clients. Working within our Production Team, the successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to provide UI/UX design and front-end development support across our software solutions Induct & Train and Read & Sign, as well as supporting the Marketing Team with updates to the company website.

What you'll be doing

  • UI/UX Design
    • Create high-quality user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets
    • Ensure strong, consistent UX across our product suite
    • Support usability improvements and gather user feedback where required
  • Front-End Development
    • Support the development team by implementing UI styling, front-end refinements, and design-led enhancements
    • Provide clear design specifications and assets to ensure accurate implementation
    • Develop web front-ends based on specifications

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Essential

  • Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, or a related discipline
  • Have 2–3+ years commercial experience in UI/UX design and front-end development
  • Be highly competent in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Be experienced with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
  • Demonstrate a strong creative eye with excellent visual design, layout and typography skills
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to delivering high-quality work
  • Be able to provide accurate time estimates, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
  • Demonstrate alignment with company values and a positive, team-first approach

Desirable

  • Experience working in a SaaS or software development environment
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, usability principles, and UX best practices
  • Experience with user research, prototyping, or usability testing
  • Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to stay ahead of emerging technologies, design trends, and best practice
  • Strong analytical and questioning skills when working with subject matter experts

Although not a direct requirement, the ideal candidate will hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle to attend our offices for meetings and training.

Location

Headquartered in Kirmington (North Lincolnshire) with a modern office in Hull (East Yorkshire), we embrace hybrid working and value flexibility. However, because this role requires close collaboration with our Product, Development and Marketing teams, we are seeking someone within easy commuting distance of either office (e.g., North/North East Lincolnshire or East Yorkshire). You will be comfortable working remotely but also joining the team in person as needed for collaboration, training and meeting days.
