This opportunity is offered on a hybrid working basis, based out of either our Brighton, or central London offices.

Our talented team are on-site 2 days per week – everyone is together on Thursdays, and you have the choice of the other day.

The Role: Producer

The Producer is a strategic project manager responsible for overseeing the successful creative production and financial health of all assigned projects.

You will act as the key liaison between clients and the internal accounts/creative and production teams, ensuring delivery is of the highest creative standard, on time, to specification, and on budget.

Your mandate is to ensure ICHI delivers a competitive, reliable, and consistently high level of creative production while securing strong profit margins.

  • Work with Clients and ICHI teams to take briefs, communicate feedback and build great relationships.
  • Plan and oversee all stages of the production process ensuring projects are delivered to the best of our creative abilities, on time, to specification and on budget.
  • Keep clients and internal departments fully informed at all times, up to date with projects and happy with all aspects of our service through regular contact.
  • To deliver good value to the client and profits to ICHI by delivering a competitive, reliable and consistently high level of creative production.
  • Ability to take the lead on medium sized Live Action shoots, CG Animation productions and game capture workflows.
  • Project manage/run projects so that the output is creatively excellent whilst being delivered on time and on budget.
  • Communicate the requirements of client projects, ensuring these are clearly identified in written briefs.

Take and give project feedback throughout the project ensuring comprehensive debriefs take place with the client upon completion of projects.

  • Source creative talent options and decide on the best creative and production approach to achieve the brief.
  • Create project budgets and schedules to ensure we achieve benchmarks and deliver a high-quality result.
  • Ensure accurate internal project reporting and administration on projects.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, engaging them so that they are motivated to deliver high-quality results for ICHI's clients.
  • Developing relationships with clients to identify projects and opportunities to add value and help clients achieve their goals.
  • Present ICHI to clients – create presentations and pitch documents in order to pitch projects and sell the whole range of ICHI's services.
  • Improve our understanding of clients, the market and the effectiveness of the work we do beyond the life of the current project’s delivery.
  • Increase the scope of projects and of our work with clients at every opportunity.

Share insights from clients back to ICHI and present new ideas etc. to clients.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience (3+ years) in producing/ project management/ account handling in production company or agency.
  • Broad experience in production/ post production / animation or videogames environment.
  • Client facing - confident experience with client handling and successful negotiator.
  • Live action shoot experience.
  • High attention to detail including excellent document formatting, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, self-starter, dependable and methodical.
  • CG/in-engine cinematics trailers, in-game content and gameplay experience.
  • Good computer skills – knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience.

Desirable

  • Trailer/versioning experience.
  • Background in game development or experience in the creation of custom in-engine cinematics and animation, or game development (including intro and outro sequences and cutscene creation).
  • Midweight live action shoot experience.
  • Interest in games and entertainment (willing to research/learn the gaming industry).
  • Creative judgment and proofreading.
