Join Keywords Studios as a Financial Controller and be at the heart of our financial operations, delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across our UK studios. You will play a key role in the finance team, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic business decisions through comprehensive financial analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and associated analysis for a studio.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and SarbOx compliance.
- Cash flow management.
- Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
- Preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
- VAT returns.
- Revenue recognition.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors.
- Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders to provide performance and commercial analysis.
- Liaising with Shared Services Centre responsible for accounts payable, receivable, and credit control.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this role will be a Qualified (or nearly qualified) Accountant. You will possess a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition, and desire to succeed. You will also have a good understanding of financial accounting and will possess strong communication skills. Experience of Netsuite is essential, experience of Tagetik would be useful but isn’t essential. Strong Excel skills are essential.
