This role will support the Regional Financial Controller for UK, and the UK Finance Business Partner for the Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and associated analysis for a studio.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and SarbOx compliance.
- Cash flow management.
- Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
- Preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
- VAT returns.
- Revenue recognition.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors.
- Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders to provide performance and commercial analysis.
- Liaising with Shared Services Centre responsible for accounts payable, receivable, and credit control.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts in NetSuite for the Division.
- Work closely with Studio Heads and UK Finance Business Partner for the Division to prepare monthly Forecast in Tagetik.
- Work closely with UK Finance Business Partner to submit pipeline data for the Division.
- Oversee Budget preparation for all studios in the Division working closely with UK Finance Business Partner.
- Review Balance Sheets for all studios within the Division.
- Review Cash Flows for all studios within the Division.
- Liaise with Audit lead for all audit queries within the Division.
- Involvement with all Tax issues within the Division (incl. Corporation Tax, R&D and VGEC as appropriate).
- Oversee Intercompany reconciliations and issues.
- Coordinate all Group reporting requests for the Division.
- Authorise Urgent Payment Requests for the Division with SSC.
- Authorise Credit Notes for the Division with SSC.
- Coordinate holiday and sickness cover within the Division.
- Oversee Floquast implementation within the UK Finance team.
- Oversee Workday PSA within the UK Finance team.
- Oversee the move to Workday Financials (from NetSuite) within the Team.
The successful candidate for this role will be a Qualified accountant. You will possess a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition, and desire to succeed. You will also have a good understanding of financial accounting and will possess strong communication skills. Experience of Netsuite or Tagetik is essential. Strong Excel skills are essential.
