In so doing we empower our clients to remain lean and agile, and to focus on creating the most engaging experiences.
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager, based in the UK. The individual will be responsible for sourcing work for our family of UK based video game studios. As part of the Create BD team, you’ll play a key role in defining Keywords' excellence in game making while being a responsible, visible partner in our exciting industry.
Responsibilities:- Ignite and guide the relationships between our studios and clients, from sourcing, proposal building, and negotiation to issue resolution.
- Seek and maintain relationships with the entire gaming industry.
- Find new avenues and opportunities for our Create Studios.
- Uphold quality in our responses and communications as well as owning the RFP responses of our studios.
- Nurture our existing development relationships.
- Communicate clearly and transparently, keeping the wider teams informed.
- Uphold the quality of work our studios provide.
- 3 or more years' experience selling in the entertainment and/or video games industry.
- Strong understanding of game development, market trends, industry dynamics and current industry landscape.
- Account Management and Key Account Management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a remote environment.
- Must be comfortable working and communicating with exec/senior contact levels.
- Additional language skills valued.
This role will likely require periodic travel to both client sites and industry events. There may also be the requirement to spend time with the team at regular gatherings in our UK studios.
