The Talent, Skills, and Performance Lead is the functional subject matter expert responsible for leading the solutioning, configuration, and ongoing development of Workday capabilities across Talent Management, Performance, and Skills for the global organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert on Workday Talent, Performance, and Skills capabilities, leveraging analytical capabilities and process orientation.
- Provide expertise on Workday best practices and partner with Talent CoE, Human Resources and other stakeholders to design cohesive solutions, mitigating cross-functional and technical impacts.
- Ensure implemented solutions meet the transactional, reporting, and analytical needs of the business for talent processes.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning for the talent modules to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay current with Workday releases and updates, evaluating new features and functionality for potential adoption in the talent space.
- Manage the Workday Releases by evaluating updates and discussing the impacts and benefits with the business.
- Support the CoE with the preparation of education of end-users and ensure effective change management for new functionality and process changes.
- Break down business needs into actionable steps toward technical solutions.
- Partner with P&C, IT and the Business to define the multi-year Workday roadmap, focusing on achieving tangible near-term results for talent and performance.
- Support the Talent CoE on talent-related projects, ensuring technical feasibility and timely delivery.
- Within the support model, this role provides Tier 3 specialist functional knowledge and configuration support for their domain.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a technology product management or functional lead role, focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of Workday Experience with specific expertise in configuring, cross‑delivering and managing the Workday Recruitment, Learning, Talent Management, and Skills modules.
- Knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, business processes, and security models as they apply to the talent lifecycle, including experience managing and supporting the Workday bi‑annual release cycle.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience translating end‑user stated needs into scalable, system‑minded technical solutions.
- Solid organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
