A top UK university is looking for an Information Security Governance and Risk Lead to join its Chief Information Security Office, leading on Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) .
This is a senior role focused on strengthening information security governance, risk and compliance across the organisation. You'll lead complex security assessments, develop policies and standards, provide assurance and risk insight, and advise senior stakeholders across the university.
You'll also provide leadership, coaching and subject-matter expertise to the wider GRC team, helping drive improvements in security maturity and risk management.
We're looking for:
Senior-level experience across information security governance, risk and compliance
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST or similar frameworks
Experience developing security policies, assurance reports and risk reporting
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Relevant security/governance qualifications such as CISM, CISA or ISO 27001 are desirable
