Urgent exciting interim Head of Safeguarding requirement. Are you a safeguarding professional, RGN with a current PIN and ideally already having a valid Enhanced DBS on the continuation service that includes Children's services?

My client, a trust in the Greater London area, urgently seeks an experienced Safeguarding Lead to support them with all aspects of leadership related to Safeguarding regulatory and statutory requirements. Here you will be a key member of staff and at the same time a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all things related to Safeguarding.

My client is also looking for a candidate with the experience to deliver a couple of bespoke reviews related to:

  • A review of 'Looked after Children' (LAC) requirements
  • A detailed Governance and Assurance review related to Section 11 self-assessments and associated statutory/regulatory requirements

You will combine a proven track record of leading Safeguarding improvement with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a key role for the organisation and will make a real impact on the standard of care delivered to its patients.

To be considered for this post, you must be an RGN with a current PIN and have worked in a similar role within an NHS Health/Public sector organisation.
