Requirements

Must have:

– Experience in application support, systems support or systems administration – Comfortable working directly with users and stakeholders – Experience creating documentation or user guides – Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently – Desirable: Experience in public sector, regulatory or similar environments – Desirable: Experience with reporting, data handling or SQL – Desirable: Experience supporting line of business applications

Responsibilities:

– Support and configure a live business application – Work closely with service users and stakeholders – Provide user support, guidance and basic training – Create and maintain system and process documentation – Support system testing, data quality and readiness for go-live – Assist with reporting, data validation and cleansing – Investigate and resolve system issues in a structured and proactive way – Support continuous improvement of system processes and user adoption

Company:

We are a public sector body in the South East offering a 12-month fixed-term contract for an Application Support / Systems Administrator. This role is essential in supporting a business-critical system within a live operational environment, situated between IT and service teams. We provide a hybrid working model with approximately one to two days per week onsite, and we aim to give our team members broad system ownership and project exposure to enhance their professional development.
