My government client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional to lead the year-end accounting close process and ensure the accurate delivery of statutory accounts in full compliance with relevant disclosure requirements.
Essential:
- CCAB-qualified financial accountant with substantial relevant professional experience
- Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax reporting
- In-depth knowledge of preparing UK statutory accounts for internationally operating organisations, with strong familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Capable of communicating complex tax issues clearly to non-finance colleagues
- Demonstrated experience in statutory reporting and accounting in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax and annual report preparation
Desirable requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 finance system
- Foreign Currency and Foreign VAT experience
- Research and report writing skills
