About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Panel Wirer with 5 years of experience. Day to day tasks include building, wiring, and testing bespoke control panels. You will need to work on time-sensitive projects and requests from the higher management team while teaching and mentoring Apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- To lay out and wire control systems to wiring diagrams/drawings
- Metal work (cutting & drilling)
- Reading circuit diagrams/drawings
- Wiring control systems panels following wiring diagrams/drawings (soldering not required)
- Basic electrical knowledge, 3-phase
- Completing test documentation
- Circuit testing & fault finding
- Live testing control panels (not essential)
- Knowledge of generators/PLC (not essential)
- Use of power tools, mainly drills and jigsaws
- Counting and managing stock (stock take monthly & yearly)
- Working individually and within a team including apprentices
- Self-driven and willingness to learn
- Own hand tools
