About the Role Were seeking an experienced Panel Wirer with 5 years experience.
Day to Day tasks is to build, wire and test bespoke control panels.
Will need to work to time sensitive projects and requests from higher management team, whilst teaching and mentoring Apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
To lay-out and wire Control systems to wiring diagrams/Drawings
Metal work (Cutting & Drilling) Experience Required
Reading Circuit Diagrams/Drawings
Wiring Control Systems Panels
following wiring diagrams/drawings (Excludes Soldering not required)
Basic Electric Knowledge, 3phase.
Completing test documentation.
Circuit testing & fault finding
Live testing control panels (Not Essential)
Knowledge of Generators/PLC (Not Essential)
Use of power tools, mainly drill and jigsaws
Counting and Managing stock (Stock Take monthly & Yearly)
Working Individually and within a team including Apprentices
Self-driven and willingness to learn
Own hand Tools Personal Attributes
Methodical, safety-first, and quality-driven, strong attention to detail.
Punctual and independent.
Clear communicator with management and colleagues
Proactive problem solver, comfortable under time pressure during commissioning.
Team player who can also work independently and mentor others.
