Job Description: Keystones is a supported accommodation provider in North Bristol. We work with adults of working age (18-65) who have a range of significant and enduring mental health needs; predominantly diagnoses of Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, and Addiction. We also work with service users who have Autism and Learning Difficulties (with a primary support need that is related to mental health). Our service user group can find it difficult to access therapies for a number of reasons, so Keystones has employed qualified therapists since 2013 (Psychotherapist, an Art Psychotherapist and a Drama Psychotherapist). This means that all our service users have access to 1:1 therapy and therapeutic groups as part of their placement should they wish. We offer a holistic and trauma informed approach, and the team is made up of a diverse and highly skilled group of Mental Health Workers, Therapists and Managers.
Venue: We have 2 therapy rooms based within our service on Gloucester Road, North Bristol (BS7); an Art Therapy space and a Talking Therapy space.
Supervision: Is required as part of the role and will be funded by Keystones. Non-Clinical supervision will also be offered by a Keystones Manager.
Person Specification:
- A qualified Art Therapist, with HCPC membership (please include your membership number in your application).
- Experience working with people with a range of mental health diagnoses.
- A strong desire to support marginalised people.
- Adaptable and able to engage with a wide range of Service Users.
- Able to work Independently following the Keystones Lone Working Policy.
- Able to work as part of a Team.
- A dynamic and adaptable approach.
- Able to use online systems (we have our own Keystones Information Portal).
- Able to offer training to our team as part of our internal CPD sessions (twice a year).
We would be particularly interested in receiving applications from people of the global majority. If you have any further questions or would like to register your interest, please email info@keystonescare.co.uk.
