Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a Lao Bilingual Expert and leverage your advanced proficiency in both Lao and English to provide high-quality transcription, linguistic analysis, and cultural insight. In this remote role, you will help support language projects, AI training, and multimedia content evaluation, ensuring accurate and nuanced understanding across both languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio and video content from Lao to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and precise time-stamping.
  • Analyze emotional tone, speaker intent, and cultural context in communications.
  • Evaluate grammar, syntax, and linguistic structures in both Lao and English.
  • Clearly explain nuanced terminology and conceptual content for project or AI use.
  • Perform advanced linguistic tasks, including context interpretation and tone analysis.
  • Contribute to AI training datasets, annotation, or other language-focused projects as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality, consistent results while meeting project timelines (minimum 15 hours per week).
