Keystone Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working with our UK-wide air conditioning and heating client who have impressive growth plans after winning multiple national tenders and new-client wins. They are recruiting for Senior/Lead HVAC Engineers/AC Engineers to join existing teams and provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members. The client offers impressive benefits and bonus schemes, and after 1 year of service employees are auto-enrolled into the company ownership scheme, meaning you own shares in the business. This permanent role is based from their Birmingham office but involves working on client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers on HVAC projects.
  • Lead and support on-site activities for commercial air conditioning service and maintenance.
  • Communicate with customers professionally and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical HVAC problems and guide others in resolving issues.
  • Work with the team to develop skills, pursue new technologies, and obtain training and certifications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work remotely when required.
  • Keep maintenance documentation up to date.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety requirements and maintain compliance knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the team to support business growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven track record in commercial air conditioning service and maintenance (experience in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, hotels, or sports & leisure is beneficial).
  • Current F-Gas Certification.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience working onsite with customers and communicating professionally.
  • Technical leadership with the ability to solve HVAC problems and mentor others.
  • Ambition to develop skills, learn new technologies, and gain additional training and certifications.
  • Proven ability to work remotely.
  • Experience keeping maintenance documentation up to date.
  • Knowledge and/or certifications in all relevant health and safety requirements.
