We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned contractor based in Surrey that specializes in the delivery of high end residential projects for private clients across the South Downs area. Due to a new project starting in Horsham which will run for the next 2 years, they are seeking a Handyman/Site Foreman to work underneath the Site Manager and assist in the day to day running of the site and help out on the tools/forklift when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Site Manager in managing the subcontractor on site, ensuring the quality of finish and driving site to programme
- Helping out on the tools when needed; all specialist work will be undertaken by specialist contractors but generic jobs here and there may need doing
- Willing to help out on the forklift or as a banksman when needed
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years experience working on a construction site in either a handyman or supervisory role
- SSSTS
- First Aid
