Keystone Property Finance is an established Buy-to-Let Lender with a strong brand identity and over 25 years’ experience in the UK mortgage market. They are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional analytical and communication skills to join their Operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience within a fast-paced environment in the creation of process analysis, facilitation of workshops, elicitation of requirements, creation of documents outlining business requirements, strong stakeholder management skills, be process-driven for continuous improvement, effective communicator and a team player, have a natural curiosity with the ability to work on your own initiative, proactive and efficient, with strong inter-personal skills. The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Business Analyst and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- People Related Tasks: Work with the Change Manager and Test Analysts to ensure changes are being worked in the correct priority order for delivery in line with the business expectations. Facilitation and influencing of meetings for elicitation of requirements via techniques such as workshops, process reviews and interviews across all levels of management. Use clear communications to liaise with colleagues to understand the specifics surrounding an idea for change. Liaise with Line Manager, escalating any specific problems for discussion and resolution. Meetings with key stakeholders throughout the change control process. Keeping team members informed of changes that may impact their work.
- Daily Operations: Elicitation of requirements. Creation of documents such as Business Cases, User Stories and Project Initiation Plans. Supporting teams with the creation of change control forms. Support the Change Control process. Creation of process maps using Visio. Process mapping as-is and to-be processes to a detailed level. Understanding requirements and solutions to ensure testing is valid. Understanding of test plans. Reporting progression and findings to Line Manager. Makes suggestions for process improvements.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Adjusts language and questions to suit the person to whom they are speaking to enable them to best elicit clear requirements and investigations. Excellent analysis skills and logical approach to problem solving. High attention to detail. Coping with fast changing circumstances and acting in a manner that facilitates the change process. Redirects efforts proactively applying an understanding of the reasons to support colleagues. Recognises the need for change and makes recommendations accordingly.
- Co-Operation and Teamwork: Participates as a team member, creating effective and professional working relationships with colleagues. Co-operates openly and honestly with colleagues and participates in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas. Assists other teams and team members when necessary.
- Monitoring and Controlling Progress: Actively monitors progress of day-to-day work and acts to achieve targets. Provides feedback to Line Manager and Senior Manager of potential problems.
- Knowledge of Process: Expert in Microsoft – Excel, Visio, PowerPoint & Word. Experience in a Change Control environment including the creation of documents such as Business Cases, User Stories and Project Initiation Plans. Understanding the current organisational situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs. Experience in liaising and implementation of third parties.
- Communication: Takes on board feedback from the business and communicates feedback to manager where required. Communicating facts and concepts so they can be easily interpreted and understood by others. Balances amount and level of information, conveys key issues in appropriate order. Communicates in plain English, speaking clearly and fluently and using correct grammar in all written work. Listens to instructions and passes on information as directed.
- Planning Own Work: Establish a daily course of action to accomplish day-to-day work targets. Is aware of team’s priorities, targets and objectives and plans own work accordingly. Is realistic with timescales.
