The role is primarily focused on managing a team in the field, driving sales, delivering continuously improved field standards and adhering to compliance and company operating procedures. This is a multifaceted role as such the individual Field Sales Regional Manager will be expected to liaise, report and support the Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver great store excellence and customer service.
- Ensuring all compliance and best practice is delivered to the highest standards.
- Auditing the field team.
- Conducting field visits in line with the company expectations.
- Challenge bad practices, delivering feedback to Commercial Business Managers on poor performance and celebrate success.
- Provide coaching support, training and onboarding of new starters as required to the field team.
- Building relationships with the field team & customers.
- Driving sales in the field teams.
- Time management.
- Excellent communication skills.
Travel nationally with 3 to 4 days a week in the field.
Requirements:
- Strong background in managing field sales teams.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills, able to develop and maintain strong working relationships, both with the field team and leadership team/key stakeholders.
- Confident self-starter able to manage their time and plan their own workload with minimum supervision.
- An ability to work as a highly effective team player, able to collaborate with the field team and customers.
- Fluent in English Language (bilingual will be advantageous).
- Preferably, working knowledge of Field Sales B2B.
- Demonstrate ability to manage a team of sales representatives in the field.
- Confident in IT systems including Word, Excel, Email.
- Full driving licence/access to a vehicle.
