Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HGV C1 & 2 Driver role located in Oxford. The role involves operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods and materials. Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to transport regulations
- Conducting routine vehicle checks
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance
- Maintaining accurate delivery records
- Communicating effectively with the operations team to meet schedules and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Valid C1 & Class 2 HGV license and previous experience in HGV driving
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety protocols
- Skills in basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification is required
- Experience in construction or waste sector logistics is an added advantage
