Keystone Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialised nursing care home in Hampshire. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care for adults living with complex mental health needs, neurological conditions, and physical disabilities, whilst managing staff and resources efficiently to maintain excellence in clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to ensure that residents' medical, physical, emotional, and safeguarding needs are met to the highest standard.
- Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of care delivery.
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements, risks, and complex care requirements including tracheostomy care and ventilated support.
- Ensure full compliance with clinical governance frameworks, CQC standards, and all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the regional team to ensure the home runs effectively and efficiently, meeting all operational and financial targets.
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems, including audits, training programmes, safeguarding procedures, and clinical governance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local commissioners, healthcare professionals, families, and the wider community.
- Instil a strong ethos of person-centred care by working collaboratively with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Act as a visible and approachable leader, fostering a values-based culture and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional care.
- Manage home budgets, control costs effectively, and contribute to business development and occupancy growth.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (desirable but not essential).
- Minimum of three years' management experience in a care home setting, ideally within complex care or specialist nursing environments.
- Proven experience working with adults with complex mental health needs, neurological conditions, or physical disabilities.
