Keystone Care is currently looking for an experienced Regional Support Manager to join a reputable Residential and Nursing care home provider on a permanent basis. The post holder will manage a portfolio of Homes based in the Southwest of the UK and will provide support for various operational challenges that the Homes might be facing and improving the quality of service and care that is being delivered to their residents.
Location: Southwest
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
Days: Monday - Friday
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Duties and responsibilities:
- Complete quality audits of each Care Home, evaluating outcomes and performance against KPI and CQC KLOEs.
- Design and implement robust staffing models for a portfolio of Homes.
- Produce and gather evidence to demonstrate that a home is modelling best practice care and that the residents have a special experience.
- Develop monitor action plans set to generate improvements against identified action.
- Report any non-compliance/non-cooperation from Home staff to the Director of Quality and Governance.
- Instil a culture of care and continuous improvement across the services.
- Work with teams and operational teams to support rapid changes and identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Promote the safety of our residents and coach the home care team, enabling them to provide a high standard of care and gain the confidence of our regulators and commissioners.
- Attend meetings as required to present audit results and discuss actions to address underperforming homes.
- Promote high standards of care and follow diligently CQC guidelines.
- Ensure staff are managed appropriately and the home runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
- Assist the company with the development of Policies and Procedures.
