The Agricultural Worker Program (AWP) is seeking a Bilingual Health Educator to join the team.

Under the supervision of the Office Manager or Director of Statewide Agricultural Worker Program, the Bilingual Health Educator is responsible for providing various health screening services, risk reduction counseling, and health education to migrant and seasonal farm workers at their homes, farms, labor camps and other outreach settings. The Bilingual Health Educator will work with the Regional Office Manager/Outreach Coordinator to refer and assist farm workers in accessing medical and community resources to meet their health needs.

Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. Community health workers or medical assistant training is highly desired but not required.

Licenses and Certifications: Current CPR certification. Current PA Driver’s license.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish proficiently is required.
