Keystone Lintels is looking for an experienced and motivated
Yard Team Leader to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring orders are prepared efficiently, stock is organised and the team operates safely and effectively.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who can lead by example, communicate well and keep things moving in a busy working environment.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting the yard team on a day-to-day basis
- Organising workloads and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Coordinating the loading and unloading of deliveries
- Ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and prepared for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and reporting any issues
- Ensuring the yard is kept clean, tidy and well organised
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Training, supporting and motivating team members
- Operating yard equipment safely and ensuring team members follow procedures
- Working closely with production, transport and management teams
- Helping to resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed at all times
- What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction or manufacturing environment
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- A strong understanding of health and safety
- Forklift experience/certification would be an advantage
- A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
