About The Role

Keystone Lintels is looking for a proactive and organised

Health & Safety Coordinator to support and promote a strong health and safety culture across the business.

Working closely with management and employees, you'll help ensure that health and safety standards, policies and procedures are understood, followed and continuously improved.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident communicating with people at all levels and has a strong eye for detail.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the company's SHEQ systems and procedures
  • Carrying out regular workplace, yard and production area inspections
  • Identifying hazards, risks and non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
  • Assisting with risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work
  • Supporting the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and quality issues
  • Maintaining accurate SHEQ records, registers and documentation
  • Monitoring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Supporting internal audits and preparing for external audits and inspections
  • Assisting with quality checks, non-conformance reporting and corrective actions
  • Helping monitor environmental controls, including waste management and environmental procedures
  • Delivering or supporting SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks and employee awareness training
  • Working with managers and supervisors to improve SHEQ performance
  • Monitoring actions arising from inspections, audits and investigations
  • Supporting the review and continual improvement of SHEQ processes
  • Producing reports and maintaining SHEQ performance data and KPIs
  • Promoting a positive culture where safety, quality and environmental responsibility are everyone's responsibility
  • What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Previous experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety, Quality or Environmental role
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and workplace requirements
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, construction or industrial environment would be beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of risk assessments, inspections and incident reporting
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels
  • Good IT and administration skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage SHEQ documentation
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding practical solutions
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player
  • IOSH, NEBOSH, NCRQ or other relevant SHEQ qualifications would be an advantage
