Programmes Officer

The Department of Physics is supported by an experienced professional services team, working in partnership with academic colleagues, as well as faculty and central directorates to provide a high-quality administrative support service and student and staff experience. We are looking to recruit a temporary Programmes Officer to support the running of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes over an upcoming peak period. Please note - this is a temporary position and the end date is subject to business needs. The Programme Officer provides essential support to students and academics working as part of the programmes team to ensure that high quality administrative and student support is provided. The temporary role will support the Education Team with completing key tasks and duties as required in areas of assessment, teaching, planning and student support. The role will be based at the Strand campus in Central London. Professional services staff are currently working on a hybrid basis, and the role holder will be expected to be available to work on Campus for a minimum of 3 days a week. They will also be expected to attend additional days on campus where needed; including being on standby to provide additional office cover if required.
