The predicted salary is between 35000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Extensive post-award research grant finance experience across NIHR, European Commission, UKRI and charitable funds in excess of 1 million Working experience of Business World and Work Tribe Monitor actual income and expenditure against budgets; identify variances and supported PIs with corrective actions Prepare detailed analysis and reconciliations of award financial information to date and forecasting future spend to end of grants ensuring accuracy of claims and compliance with funder rules.
Review grant budgets and monitored spend against funder targets ? advise on virements, supplements and extensions.
Manage finance-related queries including queries relating to staff costs and allocations.
Support with processing journals for staff costs in line with internal and funder requirements.
Work with the principal investigator, Business Operations team to monitor and manage cost allocations.
Act as a key liaison between finance, research teams, and external stakeholders to support smooth post-award delivery.
Need to travel to Waterloo on a Tuesday, and Denmark Hill on a Wednesday.
Potential for contract to be extended if you are doing well in the role.
