Responsibilities
- Undertake day‑to‑day operational admission processing, decision making and other admissions activities in accordance with partner requirements, processes and systems.
- Uphold compliance and deliver quality standards in line with agreed SLAs, while ensuring an excellent applicant experience at every touch point, supporting partners with their enrollment targets.
- Assess applications accurately in accordance with relevant requirements and regulations, including fee liability, academic eligibility, English language requirements, widening participation, professional/clinical/industry experience, immigration requirement, visa regulations and age requirements.
- Complete application assessments accurately, applying decisions and progressing records correctly within partner systems and in accordance with defined procedures.
- Identify where additional information is required, liaise with prospective applicants and/or partners in a professional manner, resolving queries in a reasonable timeframe.
- Ensure work is completed to expected standards and within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with partners, communicating professionally and collaborating with their teams to deliver a best‑in‑class service and effectively resolve issues.
- Undertake other duties as required, on a short‑term or permanent basis where commensurate with the role and required by the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant admissions experience, ideally within higher education, typically around two years (equivalent experience in related contexts may also be considered).
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work intelligently while coordinating with a team to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UK higher education postgraduate or undergraduate admissions, including the UCAS process.
- Knowledge of qualifications and understanding of comparability/equivalencies, UK or international (both preferable).
- Knowledge of fee assessment for UK regions.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for UKVI student route (for at least one study level).
- Understanding of GDPR and DPA principles.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Superb communication skills, excellent spoken and written English.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and high initiative.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and multi‑task.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others in a remote working environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to deal with difficult issues with tact and sensitivity.
- High personal standards of achievement; honest and conscientious.
Contract
This position is being offered on a fixed‑term basis for 4 months in the first instance.
