Keystone Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to lead a small but well-established residential home in East Riding of Yorkshire. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, hospitality, catering, and support for residents, while managing staff and resources efficiently. They will also have previous experience managing a Residential Care Home.
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
Days: Monday - Friday
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Duties and responsibilities:
- Effectively run and allocate work to a team of Seniors and Support Workers, including contributing towards managing the staff rota, performance, health and safety, infection control, conduct and attendance.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, evidence-based person-centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with dementia.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practice and developments.
- Oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance.
- Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Council's standards and guidance.
- Ensure Information Governance and confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
- Assist with managing budgets and assessments.
Skills and experience:
- Experience working as a Deputy Manager at a residential care home.
- A proven commitment to the improvement of Quality and Compliance of a Residential or Nursing Home.
