Keystone Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commissioning Manager to assist a nursing and residential care home in London. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, hospitality, catering, and support for residents, while managing staff and resources efficiently. The post-holder will have previous experience managing a Nursing and Residential care home and taking it to excellence.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning process, including CQC registration, policy development, staff recruitment, and service setup.
  • Manage and develop a high-quality care environment that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents.
  • Inspire, lead, and support the new staff team, embedding a values-based culture and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Instil a strong ethos of person-centred care by working closely with residents, their families, and the wider care team.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and other relevant legislation, always delivering safe and effective care.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems, including audits, training, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
  • Provide effective leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain exceptional care standards across the home.
  • Oversee home finances, including budget planning, cost control, and managing the performance of the sales team.
  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth in line with commercial targets, while maintaining ethical and transparent admissions processes.
  • Act as a visible and approachable leader, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and the local community.
