We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Regional, Area Nursery Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dedicated, passionate team and create a wonderful learning space for children and a supportive, rewarding work environment for practitioners.
You should have a vision for a setting which is inclusive, child-centred, creative and also where supporting the family as a whole is paramount.
This position will involve travelling to different nursery branches and so a driving licence would be desirable and previous experience in a similar role.
Starting Salary: Β£55,000- Β£65,000pa + excellent paid holidays, further training and career progression opportunties.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum of Level 3 in Early Childhood Education Or BA in Early Years Education from UK or Overseas University.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a nursery or early childhood education setting- regional or area managerial experience would be desirable.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Ofsted requirements for childcare facilities.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing quality childcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to the nursery team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and ongoing professional development for the nursery team.
- Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early years learning frameworks.
- Foster creativity, independence, and a love for learning among the children.
- Regularly review and update curriculum materials to meet evolving educational standards.:
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the nursery.
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and events.
- Collaborate with the local community to enhance the nursery\βs offerings and visibility.
- Manage the nursery\βs budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor enrolment and implement strategies for growth and sustainability.
