Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Chef to work alongside our children. This would suit someone with previous chef and cooking experience and who has training and qualification related to food hygiene and culinary skills.

This role is day-time hours only and no weekends.

Starting Salary: £26,000pa - £28,000pa + Bonus; paid holidays and excellent further training and career progression opportunities will also be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Cooking healthy and nutritious meals for children, using fresh ingredients.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and children\\\'s preferences.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs.
  • Plan and execute catering events, ensuring all aspects of service meet quality standards.
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
