KeyStage recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team on a Permanent Contract, to work in a variety of schools across the Tees Valley, Durham, North Yorkshire and East Cleveland.
In this role, you will be responsible for covering for absent teachers and providing instruction and support to students.
Responsibilities:- Supervise students and maintain classroom management in the absence of the teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students' learning outcomes are met.
- Liaise with teachers and other staff to ensure that cover work is properly managed.
- Manage students' behaviour in the classroom.
- Relevant experience of working with young people or an interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
- A degree or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple departments and schools.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport and ability to commute within an agreed radius.
