Keysoe Therapy Centre is recruiting for a Therapy Centre Supervisor to join our friendly & welcoming Therapy & Wellbeing Team. Keysoe Therapy Centre's main aim is to help and support adults and children who suffer with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, mental health, stress, and learning difficulties. But we strongly believe that all people can benefit from animal-assisted therapy, so all are welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of caring for the therapy animals (currently goats, miniature ponies & sheep) on a daily basis.
  • Grooming, clipping, washing, mucking out and feeding of therapy ponies.
  • Exercising the therapy ponies on a daily basis.
  • Carrying out animal assisted therapy & wellbeing visits in line with health & safety policies.
  • Welcoming charities, schools, NHS, Police forces & clients on site for their education talks and mental wellbeing sessions.
  • Running weekend education sessions for children to teach them about the animals.
  • Travelling with the ponies to therapy appointments off site to various locations such as hospitals & care homes.
  • Facilitating pony, goat & sheep walking sessions.
  • Carrying out meetings with prospective charities & organisations to explain to them what services Keysoe Therapy & Wellbeing Centre offers.

Employment information:

  • 6 month probation period.
  • Private healthcare policy after completion of probationary period.
  • Reporting into Development & Communications Manager.
  • 28 days annual leave.
  • Staff discount in on site cafe.

Please note this role is full time, 5 over 7 days per week, including some weekend work. HGV+CPC license is a bonus but not necessity.
