We have a position available in our Winnersh Service Centre for a Trainee/Entry Level Repair Engineer. This will involve diagnosing, repairing, and validating Electronic/RF Test & Measurement equipment to maintain functionality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Service/Repair and validation of both Keysight and Non‑Keysight Test and Measurement equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, PSUs, etc.).
- Performing routine tasks using defined procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement.
- Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Understand customer requirements through written and face‑to‑face communications.
- Travel to customer sites.
Qualifications
- GCSE (Maths, Science & English) at Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
- Certifications in an Engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ).
- IT knowledge (Windows, Office: Word, Excel, Power‑Point, etc.).
- Good communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
- Ability to recognise and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions.
- Ability to work independently and proactive attitude.
- Able to obtain UK security clearance.
- Technical experience within Electronics, RF, Test & Measurement Equipment (would be an advantage).
- Electronic Assembly/Test/Diagnostics (would be an advantage).
