We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our established team. This role provides hands‑on exposure to a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment used in advanced technology environments. The successful candidate will build a strong understanding of electronic instrumentation, the measurement, calibration, and repair techniques required to maintain precision equipment. The position is primarily based within the service centre, working within defined processes alongside experienced engineers. There may also be opportunities to support customer‑site activities as part of a wider engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain multiple electronic test stations, typically controlled via PC‑based software
  • Perform manual measurement and analysis of electronic signals using appropriate test equipment
  • Accurately record work completed in service documentation and systems
  • Work collaboratively within the service team to meet quality, turnaround, and performance targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C or equivalent), including Maths, English, and Physics
  • A‑level and/or BTEC qualifications in Electronic Engineering are advantageous
  • Exposure to calibration activities, or an understanding of calibration principles within a laboratory or service environment, would be beneficial
  • Experience in fault‑finding, troubleshooting, or electronic test and measurement would be beneficial
