Responsibilities
- In your role as an apprentice, you will carry out an agreed Advanced Level Apprenticeship.
- You agree to be trained on the job by the Company in order to complete your Apprenticeship and to carry out your duties in a faithful, honest and diligent manner and to follow reasonable instructions.
- Your supervised job duties will include:
- To carry out assigned calibration & repair of test equipment in accordance with customers/ Keysight requirements.
- Use Keysight computer system to access data and information, and as a communications tool in order to assist the task in hand.
- To complete Result Sheets, Reports and Job notes using the Keysight computer system.
- To comply with Keysight Employee Health, Safety, Quality, Fire and Security policies.
- To co-operate and communicate within the department and other engineers and staff from Keysight.
- To participate in training when required.
- To maintain your assigned work area in a clean and tidy state.
- Carry out Electrical Safety testing of assigned customer mains powered equipment.
Qualifications
To have GCSE maths, English, IT and Science (Physics/Chemistry) at grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent e.g. Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.
