Responsibilities

  • Calibration/validation/repair of electrical/electronic test instruments to maintain functionality and accuracy.
  • Both Keysight and non‑Keysight products are serviced.
  • Work is performed at the Telford Service Centre.
  • Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment.
  • Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Understand customers’ requirements through face‑to‑face and written communication.
  • Travel to customer sites.

You will be working in a team of experienced technicians and will be responsible for all steps in calibration and training will be given where required.

Qualifications

  • Education and technical knowledge within sector and role.
  • Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician with relevant experience in calibration.
  • IT knowledge (Windows, Office).
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Confident at answering customer questions.
  • Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and proactive attitude.
  • Able to obtain UK security clearance.
