Residential Support Worker – Children’s Homes
Location
Widnes – drivers only
Salary
£13.45 per hour plus £3,000 – £6,000 pa for sleep‑ins (£62.64 per sleep‑in)
Shift patterns
Full‑time working long days plus extra sleep‑ins (approx. 4–6 sleep‑ins per month)
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience is not essential; we provide training.
- Exceptional caring, nurturing, emotionally resilient personality.
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
- Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep‑ins.
We are looking for a children’s support worker to be part of a lovely family home, caring for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The role is emotionally challenging but rewarding; you will give encouragement and praise, be patient and understanding during crises, and inspire them to grow and develop.
