Deputy Home Manager – Children and Young People

Maternity cover contract - fixed term

Location: Widnes

Salary: £31,332 rising to £33,549 per annum basic plus an additional payment for sleep in.

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children's residential and experience within a Children’s home environment is essential.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Deputy Manager for our Ofsted registered Children’s EBD home in Widnes to cover maternity leave for a fixed term of 6-12 months.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of our welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team, being part of a region of children’s homes, with the backing of a growing national organisation, where you will be actively encouraged to be creative and bring your own unique skills and have the opportunity to influence change.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • A full UK driving licence.
