Travel: Travel required around region and nationally when required

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs per week

About the role: Are you passionate about helping others grow and succeed? As a Regional Trainer, you'll play a key role in developing confident, capable colleagues across Keys, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver outstanding, person-centred support that helps people live happy, healthy and successful lives.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver a range of mandatory, specialist and developmental training programmes across Care and Education services.
  • Facilitate training through a variety of methods including face-to-face delivery, virtual classrooms, webinars and workshops.
  • Deliver training courses to reach our Mandatory, Service-Specific and Best Practice requirements.
  • Adapt training delivery to meet the needs of different audiences, learning styles and service settings.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers and evaluation documentation.
  • Support the design, review and continuous improvement of training materials and resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback, observations and operational outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with current legislation, guidance.
  • Travel regularly across the designated region to deliver training, including occasional overnight stays where required.

About you:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles for both adults and children.
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and support practices.
  • Strong written communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant field, with an AET qualification (or equivalent) and a passion for developing others.
  • Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/D33), Level 4+ qualification, or specialist training in areas such as PBS, First Aid or Safeguarding.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with CQC, Ofsted and wider regulatory environments.
  • Experience delivering training across both Children's and Adult Services.

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

Car Allowance: £3,600 per annum

Annual Leave: 33 Days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
