We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of a brand-new residential care home designed to support up to six adults with Learning Disabilities. Opening in 2025, our new service will set a new benchmark for high-quality, person-centered care. Our mission is to create a warm, supportive environment where every individual is empowered to thrive, grow, and live a fulfilling life. We are looking for compassionate, committed Support Workers to join our brand-new team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special right from the start. As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
